2. Altbabylonisch zum Hören
Zum ersten Mal seit etwa 2.000 Jahren wird wieder Babylonisch gesprochen – und jeder kann zuhören, denn Wissenschaftler der Universität Cambridge haben Gedichte und andere Dokumente der Babylonier in MP3-Form ins Internet gestellt. / krone.at

Dort gibt es u.a. aus der altbabylonischen Zeit (ca. 1900 – 1500 v.d.Z.) Hymnen, das altbabylonische Gilgamesch-Epos, den Hammurabi-Codex oder einen Zauberspruch gegen Hundebisse.
Hier als Probe der Anfang einer Hymne an die Göttin Ischtar (wenn Sie die Transskription nicht korrekt lesen können, finden Sie auf der Seite einen Spezialfont).
